The Seminar
The Palm Oil Economic Review and Outlook Seminar (R&O) is an annual event organised by MPOB with the primary objective of disseminating information on the performance of the Malaysian oil palm industry and providing an outlook on its expected performance for the current year.
The seminar also highlights Government initiatives aimed at supporting the industry in maintaining its competitiveness, resilience and long-term sustainability in an evolving global market environment.
Serving as an important platform for industry stakeholders, policymakers, researchers and market players, the seminar encourages discussions and the exchange of perspectives in strengthening the role of palm oil within the global oils and fats market while addressing emerging challenges and opportunities.
The R&O Seminar 2027 will be held over two days from 12 to 13 January 2027 and will feature two dedicated events:

A focused platform for industry leaders and experts to exchange insights, discuss market developments and explore strategic opportunities for the palm oil industry.
