What is R&O Seminar ?

Palm Oil Economic Review and Outlook Seminar (R&O) is an annual event organised by MPOB with the main objective of disseminating information on the performance of the Malaysian oil palm industry and forecasting its performance for the current year. The seminar will also focus on Government initiatives to help the industry continuously maintain its competitiveness and sustainability while providing a platform for stakeholders to discuss and exchange views on further strengthening the role of palm oil in the global oils and fats market.

The R&O Seminar will be held over two days, from 12 to 13 January 2027, and will feature two focused events:
