Analytical and Quality Development Unit provides the latest analytical techniques and methods validation on key quality parameters for palm oil products. In addition, the unit is also responsible for setting up the maximum residues limit for potential contaminants in oil palm industry. With the emergence of new food safety challenges and issues, this unit is responsible to ensure the quality and safety of palm oil products which help to create a safer global food supply chain. Advancements in technologies and analytical methods to ensure the quality of palm oil have allowed MPOB to meet international requirements and consumers’ expectations worldwide.
