This book provides a comprehensive overview of the significant research and development (R&amp;D) efforts and innovations in the oil palm industry spanning from 2011 to 2020.<\/p><p>Comprising 27 chapters, the book delves into various aspects of the oil palm industry, including upstream, midstream, downstream, and the Fourth Industrial Revolution (IR4.0).<\/p><p>The primary objective of this publication is to share the extensive R&amp;D initiatives undertaken by MPOB and to showcase invaluable industrial experiences. As MPOB&#8217;s flagship release, &#8220;Advances in Oil Palm Research Second Edition&#8221; offers a wealth of information about the oil palm industry.<\/p><p>\u201cThis book is divided into two volumes, each dedicated to different fields, such as biotechnology, biology, engineering and processing, food and nutrition, oleochemicals, and trade. It presents a wide range of R&amp;D findings, highlighting the remarkable journey of oil palm development.<\/p><p>&#8220;The book serves as a comprehensive overview of the oil palm industry&#8217;s research and development advancements in Malaysia and worldwide.
