INTRODUCTION<\/span><\/strong><\/span>
The Malaysian Palm Oil Board (MPOB) offers the Intensive Diploma in Oil Palm Management and <\/span>Technology (IDOPMT) annually. Twenty six sessions had been conducted since 1999, with training in <\/span>management of oil palm plantations and palm oil production. <\/span>IDOPMT is a qualification which will pave the way for career advancement in the oil palm industry.<\/span><\/span><\/div>

ABOUT THE PROGRAMME<\/span><\/strong><\/span>
The course is conducted in English and comprises of lectures, project reports, assignments, practicals <\/span>and examination. Participants are encouraged to actively participate in discussions and interactions <\/span>throughout the programme.<\/span><\/span><\/div>

WHO SHOULD ATTEND<\/span><\/strong><\/span>
Individuals, both local and abroad who are involved either directly or indirectly with the oil palm <\/span>industry. Those who intend to venture into the oil palm industry are also encouraged to apply.<\/span><\/span><\/div>

ENTRY QUALIFICATIONS<\/span><\/strong><\/span>
Participants must have a recognised Diploma in Agriculture or a related Diploma in the agricultural field <\/span>or a Secondary School Certificate (SPM) or two years experience in an oil palm plantation. Participants <\/span>need to demonstrate a sufficient level of English language proficiency. The minimum requirements are <\/span>as follows:<\/span><\/span>
\u2022<\/span> For Malaysian only<\/span><\/span>
\u2022<\/span> Credit in English at SPM or equivalent.<\/span><\/span><\/div>
